5. How to Brew Pu-erh Tuo Cha? Step by Step guide.
The Tuo Cha is distinct from the Tea Cake or Brick in that it does not require to split into loose tea leaves. You don't need to break up the tea into tiny pieces. A single Tuo Cha will produce a perfect cup of Pu-erh tea. Here are the steps below to follow.
Step 1. Choose a teapot (recommended to use ceramic, glass, or Yixing clay teapot).
Step 2. Put one Pu-erh Tuo Cha into the pot.
Step 3. Pour boiled water into the teapot and wait for 3-5 minutes before pouring out the soup.
Step 4. To filter the loose tea leaves, pour the tea soup into a strainer.
Step 5. Pour the tea soup into each small cup and enjoy.
Brewing Tips:
- Use high-quality and distilled water, such as spring water or filtered water. Avoid
- The water temperature should be around 95-100°C.
