1. What is Yunnan Black Tea?
As the name suggests, Yunnan Black Tea is a black tea that is produced in Yunnan Province, located in southwestern China. This area is renowned for its high-quality teas, and Yunnan Black Tea is no exception.
The leaves of this tea are oxidized until they are a deep black color, resulting in a tea that has a mild, naturally sweet taste.

3. How to make Yunnan Black Tea?
Typically, Yunnan tea is prepared using a gaiwan or a Yixing teapot. For best results, we recommend that you use a mesh strainer when pouring your tea into these vessels in order to catch any loose leaves.
Brewing Instructions:
Step 1. Fill your teapot with fresh cold water and heat it until it just begins to boil. Temperature is about 95°C (203°F)
Step 2. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for a moment before adding your tea leaves.
Step 3. Add about 2 grams of tea leaves for every 200 ml of water.
Step 4. Steep the tea leaves for 3-5 minutes.
Step 5. Once the desired brew time has been reached, remove the leaves then serve.
