About Dark Tea Fu Zhuan Brick Tea
We always call dark tea Hunan black tea or "Hei Cha".
Dark tea belongs to post-fermented tea, is a unique tea in China, with long production history. It is mainly produced in Anhua County, Hunan province, Shaanxi, Hubei, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangxi, and other places. The main varieties are Anhua dark tea, Hubei Laobian tea, Sichuan Zang tea, Guangxi Liubao loose tea, Shaanxi Jingyang Fubrick tea, and so on.
The history of dark tea can be traced back at least to the tea-horse exchange in the late Tang Dynasty. Tang Dezong Zhenyuan period, about 785-804. The origin of dark tea is generally believed to date from the early 16th century because this is the first time in Chinese history that the word "dark tea" appeared.
Fu Zhuan Brick was called "茯砖" . and it was also called "fu tea" because it was processed in hot weather. It's one of the typical dark tea types (Hei Zhuan, Fu Zhuan, Hua Zhuan). For Fu Zhuan, people normally check the golden flower inside the brick to determine the quality. Golden Flower is the best modifier inside which can bring a special fragrance.
About Dark Tea Hua Zhuan Brick Tea
Hua Zhuan, Also called "花砖“.The origin of the name "Hua Zhuan" is to change the shape of the brick by the volume, and the two sides of the brick face have patterns to show the difference with other brick tea, so the name "Hua Zhuan". The manufacturing technology of flower brick tea is basically the same as dark brick tea.
Another difference between the Fu Zhuan and the Hei Zhuan and the Hua Zhuan is that the brick will not be directly sent to the oven for drying after it is discharged from the brick mold. Instead, in order to promote the "blooming", the trademark paper is first wrapped and then sent to the oven for drying. Drying speed does not require fast-drying, the whole baking period of double black, flower double baking more than twice long, in order to slow "hair golden flower" (that is, the generation of coronoid streptomycetes)
