Matcha waffle is a sweet treat that combines the crispiness of the waffle with the earthy taste of matcha green tea. The leaves used to make matcha have been ground into a powdered form and used to prepare this tasty dessert. The consistency is just right, not too soft but not hard to chew.
Matcha powder is prepared by removing the stems and leaves from the green tea before it is dried and crushed into a fine powder. How to make Matcha Waffle

Step 1: Make the batter First of all, mix the flour, sugar, and matcha powder in a large bowl until you have one single mixture. Then, pour the eggs into another bowl with a little oil and whisk them until they are nice and fluffy. When they look bigger or fluffy, slowly add the eggs to the dry ingredients and whisk them together until smooth.
# Add sugar and sift it Mix ½ cup sugar into it as you like.

Step 2: Heat up your waffle maker Preheat your waffle maker while you are mixing the batter and make sure it is hot before you start cooking. If you have a non-stick one, then there is no need for any oil or butter. However, if your waffle maker is not non-stick, then please add some butter or oil to help it from sticking.

Step 3: Pour the batter and cook When the waffle maker is hot, pour about ¾ cup  – or as much as your waffle maker will hold – of the batter into the middle and let it cook for about 4-5 minutes or until it is golden brown. If you are using a Belgian waffle maker, then it will take a little bit longer.

Step 4: Serve and enjoy! Once it is cooked, take it out of the waffle maker and put it onto a plate. Serve with your favorite topping such as maple syrup, honey, chocolate sauce, banana, and so on! Enjoy!
