What is Dang Gui?
Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis) is a TCM herb which is also called Chinese Angelica, Chinese Angelica Root, Chinese Dang Gui, Dang Gui Root, Dang Gui Herba, Dang Gui Root Bark, Dang Gui Radix, Dang Gui Shen, Danggui, Danggui Shen, Dang Guizhi and Danggui Zhi. Dang Gui has many functions and is used to treat colds, flu, diarrhea, indigestion, inflammation, leg pain, joint pain, rheumatism, cough, stomachache, upset stomach, and so on.

1. Anti-Cancer
Inhibition of tumor growth and metastasis mainly through the inhibition of HMG-CoA reductase activity, promotion of apoptosis, inhibition of angiogenesis, and reduction in cyclooxygenase-2 expression.
2. Protection against Heart Diseases
Dang Gui helps to improve coronary blood flow and prevent thrombosis, thus lowering the risk of atherosclerosis. It also decreases blood LDL levels and improves blood lipid profile by inhibiting the cholesterol synthesis in liver cells.

How to make Dang Gui tea?
Step 1. Scoop 1 spoon Dang Gui about 2~3 g and together with astragalus root slice about 10g. Use about 1,000 ml (1 liter) of boiled water for the two ingredients mentioned above.
Step 2. Dry the ingredients.
Step 3. Put the dried Dang Gui and astragalus root slice in a container. Pour boiled water into it.
Step 4. Wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour and enjoy your drink.
