What Is Golden Ball Single Bud Dianhong Black Tea?

This is one kind of special Dianhong Golden single bud black tea that is handmade as the ball shape. It blooms when brewing.

In 1959, Dianhong Golden Buds tea(also called "Jin Ya") was introduced. It is divided into straight buds and semi-curved buds, which are refined by picking single buds. Dianhong gold buds are made by selecting single buds of Yunnan large-leaf species before the Ming dynasty as raw materials and refined by traditional techniques.

After collecting single buds, then manually knead into balls and then dry to form.

How To Make Golden Ball Single Bud Tea?

Step 1. Put one golden Dianhong ball tea (About3~5g) and threw it into ceramic Gai Wan. Preheat the Gai Wan with boiled water before tea ball adding.
Step 3. Pour about 100~120ml water at a temperature of about 85–90°C from the wall edge of Gai Wan.
Step 4. Brewing for about 2-4 minutes or longer time until the tea ball blooming.
Step 5. Normally pour away the 1st steep, and drink from the 2nd steep. Add more steeping time from 3rd steep, up to 10 steeps for whole brewing.
